The Quest is Finally Over!

For the past couple of years I have been hunting for a decent-priced down coat to replace the one that I've had for years. I'm frustrated that my black outfits are constantly being covered in feathers. The coat I want to replace is a 3/4 length brown puffer from RW & Co. I was hoping to replace it with another one from RW, but each time I've gone to the store I haven't found any good deals. My last trip to RW the winter coats were on sale for 60% off, but they were still over $100. Old Navy had down coats on sale for $50, but they didn't have any left in my size so I decided to check out Vero Moda. That's where I found the one. The sales assistant showed me two coats they had on sale - one was a regular navy puffer and the other black. The black jacket didn't look like much on the hanger, but it looks beautiful once you put it on. Which just goes to show that you shouldn't judge an item until you wear it. The coat's original price was $179, on sale for $89. When I went to the cashier it was further reduced to $69. I love it when there's an extra discount.

Vero Moda (VM) is a European clothing store for young women who want to dress well, but not pay high prices. Their clothes are trendy and casual. The store carries the Vero Moda line as well as ONLY. I've purchased a few items from VM and they fit true to size. It's safe to assume that if you know your size, you can purchase anything from Vero Moda and it will fit you perfectly. VM isn't a high-end store so therefore you can't expect quality clothes like BCBG, but they are higher quality than stores like Forever 21 or H&M. My favourite item that I own from Vero Moda is a blue and gray chiffon sleeveless dress. You can wear the dress to the office by pairing it with a pair of pumps and a leather jacket, or on the weekend with ballet flats.

If you're ever in Europe, be sure to check out VM there. They have great deals that are cheaper than what you'll find in North America. Another perk is that you'll find items in Europe that you won't be able to find here. VM is definitely a store worth checking out.
