In today's corporate world we're slowly seeing the disappearance of formal business attire and business casual becoming the new norm. For young professionals entering the workforce, it allows them to look trendy and professional without wearing a stuffy suit.
Dynamite is a trendy store where you can find affordable business casual wear as well as the latest styles in fashion. They aim their clothes at women in their 20s to mid-30s. You can purchase items that can be worn from the office to an evening out with your friends. Dynamite is a Montreal-based company, which is affiliated with Garage. Garage sells casual clothes directed at teenage girls.
What do I love about Dynamite? They always have amazing sales! Even when their clothes are not on sale, they are inexpensive (for example, a blazer at regular price is $55). I've purchased many items from them, but one word of advice...their clothes are not true to size. More specific, their dresses and tops are true to size, whereas I've found their skirts and pants are not. When purchasing bottoms, I can fit 2 different sizes. It really depends on the cut so you definitely need to go into the store to try them out.
Another piece of advice when shopping at Dynamite, when you find something in the store that you want to purchase, check online to see what price they're selling it at. The latest knit top I purchased was $30 in the store, but only $15 online.
As for quality, I haven't had any item fall apart on me after one wash, which is more than I can say about another Canadian brand...sorry Le Chateau.
One thing I don't like about Dynamite is their selection of jewelry. Though they sell many pieces, it's cheaply made and you can find better jewelry at RW&Co for the same price.
Now with spring is finally here, it's time to update your closet. Time to go shop at Dynamite!
